Basis of Sale
All orders that you place on the website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The following is required to create a contract between you and us:
Please follow the simple onscreen instructions taking you through the process of placing an order on the website. You offer to buy the products at the prices indicated as well as any applicable delivery charges.
An order acknowledgement email will be sent to you detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is merely an acknowledgement of your order and not an acceptance or confirmation of your order by Ian Mankin Ltd.
The acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch of the products unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Once we have accepted your order it becomes binding, subject to your rights of cancellation.
Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur if:
the ordered product is out of stock or unavailable;
we identify a pricing or product description error;
or we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
No substitute products will be sent.
To purchase products you must be over 18 years of age, register with your real name, telephone number, email address, payment details, UK delivery address as described below and any other requested information.

You can return any unused product ordered up to 7 working days commencing from the day after receipt of the products, by contacting us in writing within the 7 working day period and we will refund any payment that you have already made upon receipt of the returned item within 28 days in its original packaging and condition.
If you return products by post, please ensure you package and label them properly so that they are not lost or damaged in transit. We recommend you insure the item and retain some proof of postage in the event that the products go missing, as products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them.

Product variations and use
Ian Mankin Ltd will make every effort to ensure that the products we supply through our website correspond as closely as possible to those shown on the website but cannot guarantee that they will be exactly the same. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variations in fabrics or products. Colours may vary from those depicted depending on the settings of your monitor, software or printer. All measurements are approximate. The technical specification of products may change due to availability of raw materials and we reserve the right to make such changes as and when necessary. Our fabrics are made from natural products and may thus have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the yarns which are not weaving faults. All our products are designed for domestic use only. If you wish to use our products for commercial use please contact one of our members of staff on 020 7722 0997.
We strongly recommend that you request a swatch to be sent to you to check the colour, design, scale of pattern and suitability, before ordering your fabric. We are happy to provide a few swatches free but a small charge will be made for a large number of swatches. Alternatively, call us on 020 7722 0997 and speak to one of our experienced staff who will be happy to help you.
